How to: Not Be An Ambulance Chaser

Eve calls them “ambulance chasers”. I call them “vultures”. We mean the same thing – people who profit off of others misfortunes. It is one thing to associate yourself with a cause and then benefiting from the goodwill that creates. It is quite another thing to actually profit from someone else’s pain. And remember, regardless of the goodness you feel you have in your heart, take into account how others might perceive your motivations.
